To better support our customers, we’ve updated the FDIC core cash position in Quicken ®. Now, an FDIC core cash position will be treated as Cash instead of as a security.

This will suppress additional end of day net activity (Purchase and Redemption of FDIC Core) which displays daily for accounts that have an FDIC core cash holding. Using Quicken Deluxe 2011 R3(20.1.3.20) I bought 3 stocks today (that I have not owned before). Entered them into Quicken - everything seems to be ok. Until I did an 'Update Quotes'. Quicken downloaded incorrect closing prices for 4 stocks - 1 old one and the 3 new ones.

When I manually entered the correct closing price for the 'old' stock, it updated just fine - just as it always has done (I do this frequently). But, it will NOT accept the changed value for any of the 3 new stocks.

For example, on one of them Q is displaying a price of $32.31 but the correct closing price is $32.39. If I highlight the displayed value and key in 32.39, when I hit the key, Quicken changes the value back to 32.31. I brought up the 'help' screens to verify that I'm doing this correctly. They show two ways of manually updating this figure. One: just the way I'm doing it.

The problem is, there is no entry in the menu list called 'Security Detail View'!!! I have looked all over to see if I have some option set wrong somewhere but I can't find anything.
